مدرسة كودو ايكوسي العاليا وهي مدرسة النخبة حيث تقوم بصقل الطلاب والمواهب لديهم حيث يكونوا الطلبة بعد التخرج قادرون على الالتحاق بالجامعة او الوظائف الحكومية تعطي هذه المدرسة حرية كاملة في كل شيء حتى تصفيفة الشعر او السماح للطلبة إحضار الأخرين للتأثير على المدرسة بمعنى آخر انها نعيم الطلبة. “ايانوكوجي كايوتاكا” هو طالب بهذه المدرسة لكن تم وضعه في الفصل D حيث يتم وضع الطلبة الغير موهوبين او الغير مبالين وتم الحاقة بهذا الصف لأنه غير مكترث لامتحانات القبول وحصوله على اقل درجات للقبول يلتقي “هاروكاتا سوزنو” زميلته بالصف وزملائه في الصف شيئا فشيئا يتأثر بهم ويتغير ليغدو شخص أفضل.
